HUTCHINSON– Two Illinois girls missing since last Wednesday have been taken into custody
after they were found in Hutchinson.

Sterling, Illinois Police reported that 14-year-old Gabriell Cox and 15-year-old Britthany Mercedes Santos were reported missing May 20.

The girls were thought to have connections to several areas of the country including Hutchinson.

An adult, who is not a relative, notified Hutchinson Police that the girls were in the city.

Both were taken into custody around 3 p.m. at a home in the 3oo Block of North Grandview. Arrangements are being made to return the girls to Illinois.

It’s not known why the girls came to Hutchinson or why they left home.
