Several Ellis County Administrative offices will be closed on Monday June 1st to allow county employees to attend the funeral services of a county department head.

Ellis County will observe the following work day schedule:

The Road and Bridge and Noxious Weed Departments will be closed all day.

The Landfill, Environmental and Appraiser Offices will be closed from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

All other Ellis County Offices will remain open to the public.

The Ellis County Commission Meeting will be held at 5 p.m., as scheduled, at the Administration Center, 718 Main.

NOTE: Because of the landfill closure, the city of Victoria will not be picking up trash on Monday. Trash routes will be run on Tuesday.
