SPRING HILL- Two people were injured in an accident just before 6:30 a.m. on Friday in Miami County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Honda Civic driven by Anna E. Mettner, 27, Gardner, was northbound on U.S.169 just south of 223 Street.

The Honda hydroplaned on the wet roadway.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It spun and hit a semi driven by Arturo ALanis III, 47, Columbia, Missouri.

Mettner was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

ALanis III was transported to Olathe Medical Center.

Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
