The Society for Human Resource Management student chapter at Fort Hays State University was awarded the 2014-2015 Superior Merit Award for providing exceptional growth and development opportunities to its student chapter members.

The Society for Human Resource Management is an association devoted to human resource management. The student chapter at FHSU was officially chartered in April 2014.

The chapter was recognized at the annual SHRM conference June 28 to July 1 in Las Vegas.
