Hot and windy Sunday

FileLToday will be hot and breezy with highs in the upper 90s. An approaching cold front with associated showers and thunderstorms is expected tomorrow. Cooler and breezy conditions in store Monday with highs in the low 80s.

Dry Tuesday and then thunderstorm chances return Wednesday and Thursday with cooler temperatures.

Today: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 99. Breezy, with a south wind 13 to 18 mph increasing to 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 73. Windy, with a south wind 16 to 25 mph.

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 10am and 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. South wind 11 to 18 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. North northeast wind 9 to 18 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. East northeast wind 9 to 14 mph.
