Two days of races at RPM Speedway highlight the opening weekend of the Ellis County fair.
Thursday evening will feature the fashion review and the life skills judging at 5 p.m. at the Unrein building at the fairgrounds.
The 4-H and open dog show is Saturday at 4 p.m. with registration at 3:15 p.m.
Races at RPM Speedway get underway at 7 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday night’s. Saturday’s races will feature the United Rebel Sprint Series 305 sprint cars and Colorado 1200 Outlaws Mini Sprints along with regular classes – URSS 305’s, and the IMCA sport mods, hobby stocks, sport compacts and the cruisers.
The United Rebel Sprint Series 305 sprint cars and Colorado 1200 Outlaws Mini Sprints will once again take to track Sunday evening at RPM Speedway and they will be joined by the IMCA modifieds and stock cars.
Also on Sunday is the 4-H and open class horse show at 8:30 a.m. in the rodeo arena.
Check-in for all 4-H entries is Monday with the entertainment and carnival beginning Tuesday night.
