
SALINA- Four people were injured in a pair of Friday morning accidents in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported just before 7 a.m., a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Alyssa S. Jennings, 34, Minneapolis, was southbound on Interstate 135 near the Interstate 70 interchange.
The car hydroplaned and struck the concrete bridge rail.
Jennings was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center.
She was properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
Just after 7 a.m., the Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Mercury driven by Kellene L. Whitaker, 52, Solomon, was south bound on Interstate 135 just north of Interstate 70.

The vehicle hydroplaned, crossed the median into the north bound lanes and was struck by a 1991 Chevy S-10 driven by Samuel E. Laffere, 55. Bennington.
Whitaker, Laffere and a passenger in the Chevy Kalisa, C. Laffere, 52, Bennington, were transported to Salina Regional Medical Center.
They were properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
