ROOKS COUNTY- One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in Rooks County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Lincoln MKX driven by Daryl Hartzog, 84, Jennings, was westbound on Kansas 18 eight miles west of U.S.183
The vehicle crossed left of center and struck a 2002 Chrysler Concorde on the passenger side door.
The Lincoln came to rest facing westbound in the north ditch.
The Chrysler came to rest facing westbound in the south ditch.
A passenger in the Chrysler Ernest Newell, 84, Damar, was transported to the Graham County Hospital in Hill City.
Hartzog, a passenger in the Lincoln and the driver of the Chrysler Delores Newell, 81, Damar, were not injured.
All were properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
