ST. FRANCIS – Two men were injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. on Thursday in Cheyenne County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1991 Ford Ranger driven by Rowan Nathan Lee, 33, St. Francis, was eastbound on County Road F ten miles south and two miles east of St. Francis.

The vehicle failed to yield right of way and collided with a 2002 Ford F150 driven by Marshall S. Zweygardt, 20, Max, NE., that was northbound on County Road 14.

The F 150 overturned and came to rest in the east ditch on its roof.

Lee and Zweygardt were transported to the hospital in St. Francis. They were not wearing seat belts according to the KHP.
