SALINA- Law enforcement authorities in Salina continue to investigate ATM skimmer thefts.

Salina Police reported Marjorie Koch, 66, Salina, reported two unauthorized transactions were made on her Sunflower Bank account on July 13th.

Police Captain Chris Trocheck said the transactions on Koch’s card included a withdrawal in the amount of $302.25 made in Oklahoma and another withdrawal in the amount of $302.50 in Mississippi.

Another Salina resident also reported unlawful transactions made on his account from Mississippi and Texas.

Police believe these incidents are connected to ATM skimming devices that were found on two Sunflower Bank ATM’s in Salina on July 9th.

Wichita Police have also discovered skimmers on at least seven ATM’s this month.
