HUTCHINSON – A Kansas man accused for a series of arson fires was court in Reno County on Friday where he was arraigned on nine counts of arson.
James Farra, 37, Partridge Lyle entered a plea of not guilty to starting the fires that occurred on April 7 and April 23.
Law enforcement reported finding shoes belonging to Farra that matched some of the shoe prints found at two locations where the fire were set.
Farra was arrested and later interviewed by Sheriff Detective Richard Jennings.
During that interview, Farra allegedly admitted setting as many as six of the fire that were in Reno County pastures in at least nine different locations.
