After an overnight front deposited more than three-quarters of an inch in and around Hays on Saturday, Hays woke to even more rainfall Monday morning.
Early reports showed about a quarter-inch of rain in the gauge in Hays, with reports of 0.72 inches just north of town.
A report north of Ellis showed 0.65 of precipitation.
WaKeeney had reports of between 0.4 and 0.99 inches, while areas of Rooks and Russell counties also saw more than a half-inch of rain.
There was a report of 1.56 inches from western Ness County.
Farther south, the Garden City area saw heavier rain from the overnight front, with reports ranging from 1.4 to 1.68 inches.
Chances of continued showers continue every day this week until Friday.
