BAZINE – A Ness City teen was injured in an accident just before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday in Ness County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Toyota Tundra driven by Meckenzie R Stiawalt,19, Ness City, was southbound on FF Road six miles north of Bazine.

The driver lost control on the gravel surface.

The SUV traveled from the southbound lane into the northbound lane and then back into the southbound lane before entering the west ditch.

The SUV traveled a short distance south in the ditch before coming out of the ditch and rolling one time.

A passenger Tristan L. McVicker, 18, was transported to Ness County Hospital

Stiawalt was not injured. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
