She owned and operated the Rusty “R” restaurant in Bird City, Kansas, for 34 years. She was raised and attended school in Bird City and was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church. She moved to Hays in 2007. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include two sons, Randolf Mueller, Aurora, CO; Rodney Mueller, Los Angeles, CA; four daughters, Roxanna Campbell and husband, Dennis, Burlington, CO; Robin Griebel and husband, Roger, Renee Zerger, and Regina Mueller, all of Hays, KS; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband Dean Mueller; one infant son, Richard Mueller; and seven brothers and two sisters.
No service are planned and a private family inurnment will be at the Bird City Cemetery at a later date.
