A former Hays High soccer coach has been named the sami position at Dodge City High School. Saul Hernandez has been named the Red Demons news boys and girls soccer coach pending school board approval.
Hernandez spent the last season as an assistant coach in Liberal. Prior to that he was the head boys and girls coach at Hays High School where he was named the Western Athletic Conference Girls Coach of the Year in 2014.
Hernandez is a former Dodge City soccer player (1998-2001) and 2002 graduate of Dodge City HS. He played two years at Dodge City Community College before receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Fort Hays State University.
