TURON- Two people were injured in an accident just before 7p.m. on Thursday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Dodge Stratus driven by  Sherri Kay Voepel, 56, Pratt, was traveling southwest on Kansas 61 at Will Street in Turon.

The vehicle went left of center and struck a semi that was traveling northeast on Kansas 61.

Voepel and a 10-year-ld child in the Dodge were transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center.

The semi driver Debby Ann Swank, 46, Kismet, and a 4-year-old in the Dodge were not injured.

All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
