TOPEKA– A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 9 p.m. on Thursday in Shawnee County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Ford F250 driven by Angelique R. Dorsey, 35, Osage City, was northbound on U.S. 75 just south of Topeka Blvd. in the right lane.

The driver failed to negotiate the left turning curve and drove off the road to the right. The driver overcorrected and the truck overturned.

Dorsey was transported to Stormont Vail.
She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
