Phillipsburg resident Cleo Wilson passed away Friday, July 31st, 2015 at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg, KS at the age of 100.

She was born October 18, 1914 in Phillips County, KS, the daughter of Roy & Nellie (Robinson) Van Allen. Cleo worked for years as a clerk in the Duckwall’s store and Tots & Teens in Phillipsburg.

Survivors include her nephews: Gary Hanson of Christiansburg, VA, Robert Hanson of Lawrence, KS, Phil Denver of St. Joseph, MO, and Harlan Wilson of Chula Vista, CA; nieces, Alice Denver of St. Joseph, MO and Betty Wilson of Rochester, MN.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Mrs. Wilson will lie in-state on Monday, August 3, from noon – 9 p.m. and again Tuesday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
