Fort Hays State women’s basketball coach Tony Hobson and men’s coach Mark Johnson held their weekly news conference Tuesday afternoon in the Cade Suran Tiger Room.

The Lady Tigers are coming off an 80-63 win over Missouri Southern Monday and sit 14-2 overall and in fourth place in the MIAA at 6-2.

The Tiger men dropped their third straight, 82-71 to the Lions Monday. The Tigers are now 10-4 and 4-4 in the conference.

Both teams hit the road Saturday to play Pittsburg State. The Gorilla women are unbeaten and sit atop the MIAA standings. The women’s game tips at 1:30pm with the men to follow around 3:30pm at John Lance Arena.
