Sunny, warmer Wednesday

 

There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could be severe with hail as large as half dollars and wind gusts as high as 60 mph. The best chance of severe storms is along and east of a line from Scott City to Garden City to Liberal. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Cooler weather is on the way for Friday in the wake of the cold front.

Tonight A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. South southeast wind 7 to 10 mph.

ThursdayA 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. South southwest wind 7 to 11 mph.
