RUSSELL–It’s fun for the whole Russell community. The Russell Main Street, Inc. 2015 Bricks, Broncs & BBQ celebration will be held Oct. 2 and 3 in conjunction with Russell High School Homecoming.

The RHS Homecoming parade starts at 2:30 p.m. Friday in downtown Russell; the homecoming football game starts at 6:45 p.m. After the game, the Pennington-Gil Band will play under the big tent in Cecil Bricker Park.

Events on Saturday include the Get Smoked BBQ competition and the Pie Baking contest, bingo, a beer garden, and the Flatland Car Show and Squeals on Wheels Poker Run.
