GREENWOOD COUNTY- A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. on Thursday in Greenwood County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1986 Peterbilt semi driven by Justin Wyatt Owens, 37, Havana, was eastbound on U.S. 400 just east of K Road.

The semi went left of center and collided with a Freightliner semi driven by Miguel D. Reyes, 52, Wichita that was traveling westbound.

Owens was transported to Greenwood County Hospital. Reyes was not injured.

They were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
