LONDON (AP) – Jimi Hendrix’s London apartment will be open to the public starting in February.
Hendrix lived and died at 23 Brook Street, adjacent to the home where composer George Frideric Handel lived two centuries earlier.
The Handel House Trust owns both properties and spent $3.7 million restoring Hendrix’s apartment to look as it did in 1969.
Hendrix’s friends helped by giving details of his life there.
