WINONA – A Logan County woman was injured in an accident just before 1a.m. on Saturday in Logan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford Expedition driven by Jennifer L. Collins, 36, Winona, was northbound on County Road 160 one mile north of Winona.

The driver lost control of the SUV due to the extremely wet and slick roadway,

The SUV slid into the east ditch, hit an embankment and rolled.

Collins was transported to Citizens Medical Center.

Passengers William D. Collins, 38, and two children of Winona were not injured.

The driver was wearing a seat belt. The KHP indicated seatbelt usage for the passengers was unknown.
