Nettie Irene Bender, 99, of Russell, Kansas, died on Wednesday, December 02, 2015, at the Main Street Manor in Russell.

A graveside service to celebrate Nettie’s life will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, December 04, 2015, at the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Russell, Kansas with Pastor Roger Dennis officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Friday, December 04, 2015, at the mortuary. Memorials can be given to Main Street Manor and sent in care of the mortuary.

Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
