Marketing Specialist / Social Media Coordinator

Eagle Communications is searching for our next Employee-Owner, is that you? Eagle is looking for an energetic individual to contribute to a team whose focus is to identify, develop and implement strategic marketing tactics for the broadband products and services in Eagle’s service area. This individual will be expected to support, as well as lead, efforts to ensure project success – this position will play a supporting role in customer communication, develop and lead social media strategies, branding and marketing campaigns as well as planning and executing special events. Copy writing skills and use of the Office Suite are essential. An understanding of Adobe In-Design, Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and implement marketing tactics, activities, and deliverables supporting Eagle’s strategic business plans.
Collaboration with the Marketing Brand Manager, Marketing Specialist/Event Coordinator and Graphic Designer to develop and implement strategic marketing strategies for identified market segments.
Assist in gathering and analyzing competitor and marketing information as it relates to product and brand marketing.
Understanding of email and database marketing and to develop and maintain an e-marketing strategy for products and services.
Knowledge and understanding of the direct-mail marketing process.
Familiarity with digital video marketing, video software and editing.
Formulate strategies and educate the management team and others across the company on incorporating and using relevant social media techniques into the company’s products and services.
Formulate and implement strategies to use existing social media platforms, with our sales and support teams, to fulfill customer service and sales requests (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube)
Monitor trends in social media tools, e-marketing trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media in the company and the company’s products and services.
Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts.
Assist with the development and maintenance of the division’s website(s) and other social media sites.
