The USD 489 Board of Education is scheduled to meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Toepfer Board Room in the Rockwell Administration Center, 323 W. 12th.

The board will hear presentations from Margaret Meier on technology usage at the Hays Middle School and Scott Summers, director of technology, will present information about data back-up for the district.

The board is also scheduled to hear a review of a reading and writing workshop pilot program, Hays High course guide recommendations, and an equipment bid for Hays Middle School volleyball equipment.

Among those topics board members will continue discussion on is a proposed bond that would see improvements at buildings across the district.

The meeting is open to the public.
