KFIX Rock News: AC/DC Reveals Dates for Second Leg of Rock or Bust U.S. Tour; KC, Denver Included

acdcin2The first North American leg of AC/DC’s Rock or Bust tour kicked off last August and wrapped in late September.  Now that the lads have had a bit of rest, they’re ready to get back out on the road for more.

The band has announced 20 dates for the second leg of their U.S. tour, beginning in Tacoma, Washington February 2 and wrapping April 4 at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

AC/DC’s current lineup includes founding lead guitarist Angus Young, as well as longtime singer Brian Johnson and bassist Cliff Williams.  The band also now features Young’s nephew Stevie Young, who replaced founding rhythm guitarist — and Angus’ brother — Malcolm Young after he was diagnosed with dementia.  In addition, the band’s former drummer Chris Slade has returned to fill in for longtime drummer Phil Rudd, whose future with AC/DC is unclear.

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 18.  For more info, check out ACDC.com.
