Another Pleasant Day Today

Another relatively pleasant day is expected with light to moderate southeast winds and plenty of sunshine.

An upper level storm approaching from the southern Rockies late Tonight will bring a chance of rain across the southern half of the area. Some snow might mix in with the rain by Wednesday morning, but mainly rain would be anticipated.

The rest of Wednesday and Thursday will be dry and mild before a strong cold front sweeps across the area on Friday creating windy conditions.

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 53. South southeast wind between 6 and 15 mph.

Tonight: Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 24. Light wind becoming north northwest between 10 and 13 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 49. North northwest wind between 3 and 11 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 24. North northwest wind between 3 and 9 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 54. North northwest wind between 5 and 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny and breezy, with a high near 44.
