CHEYENNE COUNTY – Two people were injured in an accident just after 4:30a.m. on Tuesday in Cheyenne County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1996 Nissan passenger vehicle driven by Tabatha L. Sanches, 34, Sedgwick, CO., was northbound on Kansas 27 eighteen miles north of St. Francis.

The vehicle drove left of the center into the west ditch. It struck a culvert and rolled.

Sanchez and a passenger Nathan G. Lawson, 14, Sedgwick, CO., were transported to Cheyenne County Hospital.

They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
