Norton Co. man hospitalized after 3-vehicle collision

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Kia Spectra driven by Wyatt Emmet Wentz, 20, Norton, was westbound on U.S. 24 just east of Hobart Street in Glen Elder.

The driver failed to stop and rear ended a 2001 Jeep Cherokee driven by Bryce Allen Staniec, 15, Glen Elder, which caused the Jeep to rear end a 2008 Chevy Malibu driven by Kiley A. Stutzman, 20, Milford, NE. which was preparing to make a left turn.

Wentz and Staniec were transported to the Mitchell County Hospital. Stutzman was not injured.

Wentz was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
