For those hoping to have a white Christmas Day chances are still small, but beginningĀ on Friday night a winter mix is expected to begin after 10 p.m. Rain and snow will continue off and on through Monday, with strong winds expected as well, as the winter storm passes through the area.
The national weather service has warned drivers to keep a close eye on the storm through Sunday and Monday, as significant snowfall amounts and blizzard conditions will be in the area.
