The Local Big Creek Longbeards will have their annual banquet on Jan. 23 at the Ellis County Fairgrounds.

The doors will open at 4 p.m. Smokin’ Co. BBQ will be the caterer. Money from the banquet, in part, is used to promote conservation, provide an annual free hunter’s safety course, a youth fun day at the Hays Sportsman’s Club, scholarship for a senior to continue higher education, and many other local events.

This is a family event with children’s table, ladies only table and lots of chances to win guns.
