Twenty-seven area residents have committed to improving themselves and their community through additional leadership training from the Leadership Hays program. These individuals will spend seven sessions together from February to May exploring 21st Century Leadership subjects including communication, collaboration, group dynamics, creativity, visioning, learning styles and servant leadership skills.

Participants will also be working together on a project that will benefit local children.
Leadership Hays is a program of the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce, and is affiliated with the Kansas Leadership Center. The mission of the program is to improve and strengthen individuals and the Hays community by identifying, inspiring, and involving those persons who have displayed a capacity for leadership.
