Hays’ official snowfall is 5.5″, so far

As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, Hays has received 5.5 inches of snowfall, as officially recorded at the K-State Agriculture Research Station south of town. There was 0.61 of moisture measured in the past 24 hours, with light rain off and on in Hays Monday afternoon.

Total moisture for 2016 is now 1.29 inches; total snowfall for the 2015/2016 season is 12.8 inches.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. tonight.
