Nice Today But a Chance of Snow Tomorrow

A cold front will push south across western Kansas after midnight tonight.

Light snow is expected to develop behind the front late tonight into Tuesday morning. At this time it appears that accumulations will only be around an inch or so at the most.

The rest of the week should be mostly sunny and cool.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 8 mph.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Light wind becoming north between 15 and 18 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of snow, mainly before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Windy, with a north wind between 16 and 25 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 14. North wind between 6 and 14 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31. North northwest wind at 7 mph becoming south.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 19.
