TOPEKA, Kan. – The TMP-Marian softball team will be the No. 3 seed in their own 3A regional. The Monarchs (14-6) will open with No. 6 Lakin (1-17) at 3 pm Monday (May 16) at the TMP Sports Complex. The winner will play either Scott City (15-3) or Russell (1-19) in the semifinals at 4:30 pm Tuesday (May 17). Southwestern Heights (16-2) is the No. 1 seed and will get the first round bye.  They will face the winner of Monday’s game between Larned (8-10) and Plainville/Stockton (2-16) at 3 pm Tuesday.

Hays High has garnered the top-seed for their 4A Division I regional at the Bickle-Schmidt Sports Complex. The Indians (8-10) will open with winless Buhler (0-18) at 4:30 pm Tuesday (May 17). Ulysses (7-11) is the No. 2 seed and will face McPherson (7-13) in the other semifinal game.

Ellis is the No. 1 seed in their 2-1A regional hosted by Sylvan-Lucas. The Railers (10-6) will receive a first-round bye and play the winner of Monday’s (May 16) game between Sylvan-Lucas (8-12) and Bennington (0-19) at 3 pm on Wednesday, May 18. Republic County (12-8) and Lincoln (10-8) meet in the other semifinal.
