ANDERSON COUNTY – A Kansas man died in an accident just after 12:30p.m. on Wednesday in Anderson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Dodge Durango driven by Richard D. Crabtree, 80, Kincaid, was southbound on U.S. 59 just north of Garnett.

The vehicle left the roadway, entered the west ditch, hit a road approach and rolled onto the passenger side.

Crabtree was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to First Call in Kansas City.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
