Warm, breezy Saturday

FileLA typical early June day is in store across Central Kansas today, dry with breezy north winds and a high in the low 80s. High pressure will arrive tonight and cross the region tomorrow with much lighter winds. Temperatures on Sunday will edge into middle 80s.

The next cool front will move through Monday night. Temperatures will be near normal Tuesday, but then summertime heat will arrive, with 90s likely for some areas Thursday through Saturday.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 82. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 52. North wind 6 to 15 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 83. North wind 8 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 55. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southwest after midnight.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 86. West southwest wind 7 to 9 mph.
