The Ellis County Commission last week delayed a vote on the cereal malt beverage license for the Bickle Schmidt Sports Complex, wanting more information about how beer sales will be regulated. Recreation Commission Superintendent Roger Bixenman told the commission Monday night that there will be stipulations to protect youth activities.

If youth and adult games are played in the same quad, beer sales will not be allowed. The Recreation Commission will handle concessions at the complex.

The county commission approved the license.
