City of Hays

Beginning Wednesday, July 6, 2016, a contractor for the city of Hays will be doing work on Canterbury Drive from 12th to 13th Street.

This work will involve grinding bumps from the concrete pavement surface. This section of road will then be restriped from 4 lanes to 3 lanes.

The road will remain open, and traffic will be routed around the construction. The repairs are scheduled to be completed within one week (weather permitting).

Signs will be in place to direct the traveling public. The traveling public should use caution and if at all possible avoid this area. The construction is in relation to 2016 street maintenance projects.
