An Indiana man was arrested for threatening his former employer after he was fired last week in Hays.

According to Hays Assistant Chief of Police Brian Dawson, on Tuesday, June 28, 42-year-old Chad Shock of Plymouth, Ind., was let go from his employment with the carnival that was in town.

Shock reportedly had been drinking at the Horseshoe Bar and, according to police, wanted to fight the man who fired him.

Shock reportedly pulled a knife from his pocket and, when flicking it to extend the blade, it flew from his hand.

The knife was recovered and no one was injured in the incident. Shock was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.
