Warmer Today But A Chance For Showers

An upper system moving into the southern Rockies tonight will bring a chance for rain changing over to snow from late Friday through Friday night.

The potential for around a half inch of snow exists from around Dodge City to Syracuse and Liberal. Another chance of rain returns to the forecast on Monday.

Today: A 20 percent chance of showers after 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Calm wind becoming north northeast between 5 and 8 mph.

Tonight: A slight chance of rain and snow before midnight, then a slight chance of snow between midnight and 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Northeast wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 42. Northeast wind between 5 and 9 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 21. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming south southeast.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. Windy, with a south wind 5 to 8 mph increasing to between 25 and 28 mph.

Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 34.

Washington’s Birthday: A 50 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48.

Monday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49.
