HUTCHINSON – The Hays Eagles Sr. American Legion baseball team scored 14 runs on 17 hits Tuesday night in a 17-6 win over Buhler. The Eagles broke a 2-2 tie with a run in the second inning and four in the third.

Ryan Ruder had three hits and Dalton Stout hit a grand slam in the seventh and drove in five runs.

Starter Cole Murphy pitched four innings and allowed three runs on five hits and gets the win in the game called after eight innings by run-rule.
