FARMVILLE, Va. (AP) — Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Tim Kaine met last night in the only vice-presidential debate of the campaign. The faceoff took place at Virginia’s Longwood University. Rather than go after each other, the two men immediately took aim at the tops of their tickets. Kaine repeatedly challenged Pence to vouch for Donald Trump while Pence kept questioning Hillary Clinton’s trustworthiness.
