BARTON COUNTY – Three Kansas teen were injured in an accident just after 10p.m. on Monday in Barton County.

A 1970 Ford F250 driven by Nathaniel Larkin, 16, Hoisington, was eastbound on Northwest 110 Road west of Hoisington, according to the Barton County Sheriff’s office.

The pickup veered into the south ditch, hit the embankment and flipped end over end.

Passengers Trevor Jones, 16, and Austin Doonan, 15, both of Hoisington were transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital by Hoisington EMS.

Larkin was treated for minor injuries at the scene and refused transport.

The accident remains under investigation, according to the sheriff’s department.
