GOVE COUNTY – A Northwest Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. on Friday in Gove County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford Escape driven by Carl Larson, 78, St. Francis, was east bound on Interstate 70 just east of Grainfield.

The vehicle slid off the roadway into the median and rolled.

Larson was transported to the hospital in Quinter.

He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
