Starting Monday through Friday, April 21, Old Highway 40 from Victoria to Walker in Ellis County will be closed to through traffic.

The closure is necessary for the removal of the eastbound bridge deck on I-70 that carries traffic over the highway. Traffic on I-70 will remain head-to-head in the westbound lanes.
