WICHITA – An unusual looking aircraft landed in Kansas Tuesday.

The Aero Spacelines Super Guppy made a refueling stop at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport.

The aircraft is carrying pieces of the Orion spacecraft, NASAs next capsule that will take astronauts to Mars.

The airport’s social media account described the visit “An odd bird, she definitely makes waves when she shows up!”
