DSNWK

Today the DSNWK Golden Spotlight recognizes three collaborating organizations: Kansas Food Bank, Dillons and Walmart. In 2009, DSNWK became an affiliated member of the Kansas Food Bank. This relationship has allowed individuals served by DSNWK to have access to food through the Food Bank each month at a reduced fee.

In addition, DSNWK also signed a Partner Agency Contract with Feed America to pick up food items donated by the Hays Walmart and Dillons grocery stores. By donating these food products, Dillons and Walmart have saved DSNWK a significant amount of money.

The purpose of Golden Spotlight is to recognize 50 persons and groups for their contribution and dedication during Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas’ 50th anniversary.

Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas is a non-profit serving 18 counties and more than 500 individuals in northwest Kansas.
